ADULT KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY RESTING
- The underside is white to gray with scattered black spots, and a continuous band of orange cresants along the bottom of the wings.
- The orange cresants on the underside of the butterfly identify it as a Karner Blue butterfly.
- This butterfly is resting on a wild piece of grass.
- The condition and survival rate of this butterfly is very poor. Notice the crippled right wing.
