ADULT KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY NECTARING


  • The underside is white to gray with scattered black spots, and a continuous band of orange cresants along the bottom of the wings.
  • The orange cresants on the underside of the butterfly identify it as a Karner Blue butterfly.
  • This butterfly is nectaring on its host plant, wild lupine.
